Seedlings 1-26-2011

Seedlings as of  1/26. Bell peppers are my problem/empty area. The seedling tray was sagging in the middle, and wicking up water from the bottom tray, the middle was too wet to germinate. Resolved earlier this week and they are well on their way to coming up.

I had to call it on eggplant, 3 seeds didn’t germinate.

Basil is 5/6.

Lettuce is 5/6.

Yellow strawberries are coming up great.

Red Strawberries I can’t get a single seed to germinate.

Royal Hillbilly Tomato – only 1 so far, been hard to get started.

Chocolate stripe Tomatoes are very easy and growing fast, they were the first ones up and the tallest so far.

Sungolds are going ok once the tray was raised, they are next to the bell peppers and were too wet. I had to re-sow the seed there too.

Hardy Kiwi way to the right and don’t expect anything from them for a while. I didn’t put them in the freezer so if they germinate it will be a shock.

(in order left to right) Eggplant, Tomatoes and Bell Peppers close up

LED Grow light setup so far.
